The auto 98 harness i have here has a 20pin and a 16pin. I am guessing thats an auto harness. Find yourself another SER M/T harness and it should plug and play. My 95 has two of the same type of connectors (16 & 12) and the 4 pin is different.

Who sold you the harness?

Hmmm like I said I won't be home for awhile but I know for sure that the ser harness has a couple more pins per connector. So maybe it has 20 16 and 8 for the three. kaotekxe sold me the harness and he said it was from a 96 ser manual. So basically my car but the ser model. If it really is a 98 harness could I just switch the connectors and be good to go?

I will have to check. You need to do some digging and find out what connectors are on the other end. Start by finding a 98 manual and a 96 and see if the wire colors at the connectors match a certain one.

If I am not about to just switch the pins would an obd2 g20 harness fit my underdash because I know there is a good amount of those at my local pick n pull. I'm just trying to think ahead.

Doubt it, find some FSM's and see if the connectors match.

So i looked at the 2 connectors that would go to the underdash from the harness i bought and they are 20 pin and 8 pin (not all pins are used). I checked out the wire colors from my ga wiring harness and the ser harness i bought and only a handfull of the color codes match up. I was looking at the 96 fsm to try and figure out if i could switch the connectors but it looks like its gonna be too much of a pain and way too time consuming and i would rather just have a plug and play. And i just looked at the 98-99 fsm's and the 98-99 ser harness has the 20 pin and 8 pin just like you said squirlz. So it looks like ill have to contact the guy and get a refund. If you guys could help me find a 95-97 ser harness that would be awesome. Thanks.

The 98+'s have extra sensors and crap too. Im glad you did some digging and found exactly what was going on.
