nx2000 brake swap now no brakes
i have a 1996 200sx se-r and i did an nx2000 front brake swap, and ive bled the brakes out alot and i still have a soft pedal. Ive gone through 3- 32oz bottles of fluid bleeding the brakes and im still getting bubbles, and a soft pedal. ive bled from farthest to closest per the fsm.
.
i figured from other peoples advice since im only dd ing the car i dont really need to do the master cylinder swap
.
i dont understand i thought the nx2000 brakes were supposed to stop faster but it takes far longer for me to stop now

sounds like the calipers are not holding the pressure.

open the caliper nipple (1 at a time) and let gravity push out the air then bleed it like normal works great for me

Sound to me that you put the calipers on the wrong side. Which means the bleed screw is down low instead of being up high. When the screw is on the low side it can not get the air out.

how are you bleeding them? Did you bleed the whole system or just the fronts? following correct fsm sequence?

ive used a hand pump vacuum bleeder and by using 2 people one to pump the pedal and one to fill reservoir/ open valve, i bled the whole system 3 times, and i followed the sequence in the fsm

i got the fronts off of a junkyard car and then rebuilt them with all new seals and boots, the rears came off of a friends car that went to the junkyard

i have found that when replacing pads, the rotor should be hand-tightened to the hub with a couple lug nuts so it will not wiggle or flop around when the caliper is put back on. if the rotor can move the pads may end up getting installed at an angle to the rotor, causing soft pedal feel.
