Well, they don't pop up to often around here so when does I have to check it out. I was waiting for the guy at the lot yesterday and I almost just left because I realized it was the same car that I saw back in June. But, I'm glad stayed it was kinda fun to see what a classic feels like on the road. I liked it. Between the two of us she was easily carrying an extra 500+ lbs and the thing felt faster, lighter, and more nimble than my B14 with bolt-ons.

Can anyone run a carfax or autocheck for me? LOL.

From what you're saying, I wouldn't pay more than ~$1400 for it.

I don't think so?

I don't believe it would be LSD. It would also be no less likely to develop 5th Gear Pop Out. He really should have swapped it for a 95+, 96-97 200sx tranny seeming to be the safest bet from what I can see.

Hmmmm... Interesting. I asked him if it was a LSD tranny and he was clueless. When I asked him if it had 5th gear pop-out he looked at me surprised and asked how I knew about that. LOL.

If I were you, I'd forget about that car completely. You're in NM correct? Look around TX or even Cali on craigslist...or the forums here... If you find something great for a great price, contact them, and hop a greyhound for a few bucks to go look at it. A great car is worth the wait and the travel.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on this one. It just sucks because clean, unmolested classics are getting harder and harder to find these days.

On a side note, the clutch pedal on that b13 was so easy to push in compared to mine on my b14. When I hopped back in my car to drive home the difference was night and day. Guess it's time for a new clutch and cable in the SE.

They seem so rare, but they are much easier to find then they seem. Just got to keep looking. One is out there for you!

I'm currently on the search for one, but I have very picky needs in what I will buy. I'm looking for a fairly stock or tastefully modded b13SER, with less than 80k on the chassis, a VE would top things off but not necessary, with abosolutely NO rust. Seems like a long shot, but it is out there somewhere, & I will find it.

See, that's the thing. This one is all stock, no rust, 124,000 miles on chassis with a straight body. Aside from the headliner the interior is in good shape too (no cracked dash).

Except for that open diff tranny.

New headliner is a DIY job for $60 by the way.
