Brake Pedal Grommet
So mine fell out and fell apart. But my question is... how in the hell do you get a new one in the pedal? Do I have to back the sensor out or just push the pedal in?

I tried pushing the pedal in with no luck.

got pics?...not sure what you mean. Are you talking about where the switch for the brakelight hits?
If so,I have used a nut and bolt before

i just pushed/hammered mine in with pliers or tried to squeeze it in with the pliers, i think one time i put some oil on it and it went in a little easier

Do not put another gromet in again. This happened to me many years ago and I just put in a small nut and bolt in place with a lock washer. IIRC it was a 10mm nut and bolt.

I used jb weld and a nickel to cover the hole that was left. Little ghetto but pretty permanent.

bolt works great but those grommets are free at the junk yard. put a little vaseline on them and they pop right in.

The whole purpose of the grommet is so the switch does not take a beating the grommet does, after a while if you put a bolt or whatever in or on the hole the switch will break, it happened to me
.
What would you rather replace a $2 grommet or a $20+ switch (dealer prices) junkyard is cheaper, but I'm just proving a point

those gromets go bad and break apart after some years or if your interior always hot.

Well I already bought and have the grommet from Greg. I just need to get it in. Im pretty sure it's original and the car is 11 years old now. And the car was sitting for while in the direct sunlight.

The nut and bolt idea sounds good but I'm sure there is a reason why rubber is used.

I'm going to try again and get the pedal down and just bleed the rear passenger brake. That should help get the it in there.

Start the car first, push down the pedal, put some spit on the grommet and push it in place.

C'mon Wayne, u got to lick it before u stick it! LOL
