Thread: Roller rocker intake manifold on 99 low port engine.

i think the main issue will be the evap on top of the 99 manifold, and i do believe there is no IACV on the RR motor, so those are a few problems I forsee. Ill be able to get a closer look at the RR mani this weekend. I was mainly hoping someone has done this before, or KNEW if it would work for sure even with a little tweaking.

There will be 5 cell lights just on the motor going this route, 3 of them you will not be able to remove.

this could all be solved if andre cut me a sweet deal on a low port top feed jwt fuel rail. : )

There is no

Fast Idle or cold start valve
EGT sensor
2 EGR sensor on back of the motor
Sensor on the top of the intake manifold

well I say just cut out the middle man and see if JWT will cut you a sweet deal on a low port top feed JWT fuel rail.

Hmm so that means the lowport mani could bolt right up on the Roller Rocker?

The IACV did change, it's an ECU controlled motorized valve now. There might be a way to retrofit an IACV that's not ECU controlled onto that mani.

yes this is a common swap for a B14, but you have to swap heater pipes also.
