I'm seriously sad...
Guys,

I left to go give the previous owner of the goose my old parts, and that was only 4 hours ago... and I come to see the forum running around with its head cut off. I'm really not liking this... and I seriously feel queasy about the uproar of conflict and drama that just surfaced.

I dont know how to react, but all i can say is I'm really sad about it.

I'm just sharing how I feel about it. I really hope we can all work out the issues and not tear apart. I've seen this shit happen 2 times at a couple other forums that I stayed at... and the outcome is not good.

I just don't want to see this result in:
All the members leaving
Utter Chaos and Leadership Problems

Just sharing how I feel...

man, I really think we won't have utter chaos or membership problems. Just keep in mind that this isn't some ricey forum like honda-tech.com or zilvia.net.

Everyone that I have ever dealt with on the sr20forums have been grade A stand up guys. I can say that I have never seen that level of maturity and usefullness on any other forum I have been a member of, EVER.

We will prevail and we will rebuild our community to be as good as before.

I think the Shock of the changes has stirred up a heaping steaming pile of emotions, feelings of betrayal, etc... but everyone take a second to breathe before typing away. Please understand that all the changes can be solved by simply changing the information in your profile.

Take a second to see whats going on, lets not all leave and be rash. I've seen forums break up before because of sh*t like this, and the result is ALWAYS bad. Please for what its worth... were a community, come together like one in times when we need to.

Lets be civil, lets be calm, lets be collective. Let's not jump to conclusions, lets hear things out, and not take things to the ultimate extremes.

A while back i thought about starting my own forum. But couldnt afford too. Let this be our new home.

I am willing to help in anyway possible.

I was just a few months away from EIGHT YEARS on SR20Forum. I'm kind of sad, too.

I haven't stuck with anything that long, ever. It's just a forum, but geez.

Some of you want to kill ekool. Kill him with reason, instead.

I would like to have the sr20forum back how it was...but I doubt it since it is a business to them. If they do rectify it then that is very good....I am very sad too since that is my home.

It's just bad business man.

They are making changes for change's sake.

Rather than trying to understand the community they inherited they are trying to assimilate into the styles of their other forums.

Our community has shown time and again that it is nothing like other forums. The fact that they don't care about that history and precedence is a complete slap in the face.

I hope they fail.

Yeah, I hope that this new forum will remain a close knit community much like the "Old Forum" was. This move is all too familiar. I hope everyone remains cools...look at Allnissans dot com...

Tokes, we all have been e-shaken. If you could only see my reaction in person

I agree with JimR but I also believe we need to **discreetly** duplicate the volumes of information that all of us covet/input from the forum... just in case.

If the Edit option does not return for those items they are anchored there for eternity...

It should be a point that all " New" technical info is here and only here.
