Gas + Trans leaks
Uhm, yes, this is actually a two part question...

1: My car (93 B13 se-r) has a gas leak at one of the bends in the tank fill pipe. Is there any way to replace this without replacing the entire tank, and/or can I just get by with only filling up halfway?

2: There seems to be transmission fluid (well, it's a manual, so I guess it's called 'gear oil' or something) coming out of the front of the car in pretty serious quantities. How do I check the level of the trans and add more fluid?

there is a plug in the front of the tranny that you can take out with a 3/8" ratchet. you can put in more gear oil there and fill it up until you can feel the fluid with your finger. not sure on the gas tank.

Thanks. Hopefully the plug is just loose.

Gas fill pipe can be replaced without changing or removing the tank. Just do it with the car jacked up from the left side and less than 1/2 tank of gas.
