Cylinder not Firing Problem
IT WAS THE FUEL INJECTOR BUT NOT ONLY THE O RING. ABOVE THE O RING THERE IS A HARD PLASTIC PIECE THAT GOES AROUND THE INJECTOR. IT WAS WARPED. INSTEAD OF BEING STRAIGHT ALL THE WAY ACROSS IT WAS WAVY. SWAPPED WITH PARTS OFF THE OLD INJECTOR AND IT WORK WORKED FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. STARTED ACTING UP AGAIN. PULLED THE INJECTOR AND NOW IT IS EXACTLY LIKE THE OTHER ONE. ONLY A COUPLE OF HOURS. WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS TO KEEP WARPING INJECTORS. DO I NEED TO SWAP THE FUEL RAIL AND INJECTORS OR WHAT SHOULD I DO?

My NX started acting funny the other day(rough idle, slow acceleration). I narrowed it down to cylinder 3 by pulling the plug wires until I found the one that didn't make any difference when it was unplugged. The fuel injector was not working so I got one from an auto part store and swapped it out. It worked fine for a couple hours now its having the same problem but the fuel injector is working. I swapped out the plugs, wires, and that injector. I pulled out the fuel rail to see if all of the injectors were the same when I turned the key to prime the system and they are all the same. No leaks that I can tell. The plug in cylinder 3 is gas fouled. Checked for spark and it sparks good. Any help would be great. thanks.

So you're saying spark is good, but Cyl 3 is having fuel issues? My first GUESS is a leaky o-ring.

yes spark is good but cylinder 3 is fouled with gas. My guess would be this is why it is not firing. Is it hard to swap out the o ring on these injectors.

Is this the original motor? Sounds like the fuel rail is bent (importers use the rail to lift the motor sometimes). Do you have the black spacers under the rail?
