CEL flashing non sense.
While driving, sometimes my Check engine light blinks in a totally random pattern. Nothing like the dash-dot of pulling error codes.

Is something wrong with my car??! Never had this happen to me until I put in the JWT ECU. I even confirmed the program with JWT and it was for my car 100%.

Worst part is, it does not do it every time I start up. I would say 1 in every 7 or 8 starts will it do this the entire trip.

Check to see if the screw in the back of the ecu is on diagnostic mode, this will usually keep the cel flashing while driving.

Wow, it was set to self-diag mode. Blame me for not even bothering to check. The screw was turned from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock. I turned it back all the way (As per the label on the ECu says to do)

Could this be why I cannot enter timing mode???

Damn.... so simple yet so sad. Glad you got that fixed. Keep an eye out for gas mileage JIC.
