Noob Here to say Hey, Cars Inside!
Hello All, I just picked up a 96 Sentra with a BB swap. Now I have to admit Im not a rookie to working on cars, trucks,ect... However I am a rookie to the interchangablity of these SR's. Im here to say Hi, & possible gather some info. on these SR's What parts are interchanagable from Fwd & RWD ect....

Here is the sentra I picked up. It is not the prettiest swap, The kid who did it was aparently a Noobie and wasnt good doing clean work. I will go over it all and clean it up. After some research I found this info on the the car.

370cc injectors (Purple)
T25 on GTi-R manifold
U13 BB ECU
OBD2 to OBD1 adapter
Pulsar GTi-R MAF
Front mount intercooler
CX Racing Aluminum radiator (3 or 4 row I think)
Ebay Boost gauge
Ebay BOV
Tokico Shocks with Tein Lowering Springs in the front and stock springs in rear
Forge Pistons and Rods (Stock)
Orthodox pulleys
Full 3" exhaust

What else should I do? Im not looking for a race car just a good mid 12 sec car.

Current cars and projects

My Daily driver Altima SE-R 6MT

Mine is on the Right, My buddy Nicks is on the left

suspension work if you're going to do anything but daily drive it, a t28 from a gtir or new garrett turbo, and an obd2 ecu if you need emissions testing done where you have the car registered. should be easily into the mid 12's with that and a boost controller

I have no real knowledge of working out your turbo bugs. Plenty of folks here will be able to help you.

However, those suspension "modifications" (I'm being generous on that term...) are absolutely atrocious. On a B14, the Tein springs are amongst the very worst possible that the previous owner could have installed. The Tokico struts are simply OEM-replacements. You'd be in waaaay better shape, and get better handling, with stock springs all the way around.

Please give this a read before you undo and re-do that horrific suspension.

And.....pink turbo piping? Is there a Hello Kitty sticker on that thing?

Best of luck with your projects and welcome to the forum.

Well if it were me, I wouldn't have picked up the sentra and put the money towards the other projects. You got some really nice other project cars!

But with the sentra, weight reduction will help as well as cams.

I can give you some advice that might help... That's not a Sentra its a 200sx, same chassis but not a Sentra.

I believe for comfortable mid 12-second runs you'll want larger injectors. Also make sure you have a Walbro 255 HP fuel pump (or similar) in the tank.

You're going to have to figure out how to control the larger injectors and a larger turbo is going to be in order. A T28 might get you there for cheap but to be extra safe you might want to lay down the money for a larger T2 flanged turbo.

I don't think Forge makes pistons and rods at all. They are mainly a BOV company and such (link). Did you mean forged? If so, stock pistons and rods are not forged, they are cast. So not sure what you were told.
