which is the cheaper platform?
b13 b14 or b15? or anything else?

maybe b11 or b12?

S-chassis? (240s)
or Z? z30 z31 z32?

i was thinkin about getting rid of my GSI and starting a new project..

when i say cheap i mean which do y'all think is the easiest to modify/work on/aftermarket parts readily available..everything from interior to exterior and performance and suspension, etc etc..

RWD chassis has the most availability of aftermarket parts. TONS of stuff available in the market compared to the FWD chassis. S13 or S14 good, Wouldn't do the Z chassis. (too expensive)

It really depends on what you wanna do. You can do a budget turbo setup on a se-r b13 or b14 and blow just about anything away that's in that price range, in a straight line.

Z cars are heavy and parts weren't cheap last time I looked at them. You can get the older 80's ones for real cheap and put in a different motor. You might as well get an rx7 and have something that looks ok if you're doing that.

240's have the most aftermarket support.

You're going to spend a lot of money on any of them, if you buy someone's project car, you might win out, you might have to clean up a horrible mess, there's always a reason they're dumping their "beloved" project.

I didn't pay much attention to the thread title. He said cheap.

I'm sure you've heard this: Cheap, Fast, and Reliable: You can only pick two.

if you want cheap the S13/14 isnt for you. Ppl be taxing on those chassis. When going to cheap route your best bet is a B13/G20 with a DET/DE-T.

i think what i meant was what kind of platform i could get a car or shell for for cheap, but still have good aftermarket support

P10, it's superior to anything on that list and by far the cheapest
