i have mounted and balanced/performed RFV on brand new tires that have failed ...

it usually happens with used tires that started out ok, then lost some rubber and went to sh!t...read the link i posted

You do that at your work? I thought you worked at the a/c place, where do you work now?

We have one at the dealership I work at as well. It's very nice. I recommend having a shop that has one of those do the balance.

Was the car rolled around while the axles were out? That messes up the wheel bearings. I would suspect something related to the swap. Axles, bearings, engine mounts. Are all mount bolts tight? Is the center bearing on the passenger axle in correctly?

Yeah, the car was in and out of the garage for a week with no engine & trans in it, engine mounts are now polyurethane filled and tight, and as far as I know passenger axle is still in right haven't checked it in a while

its might be the polyurethane mounts they are stiffer so your feeling more of the road conditions then with the oem mounts they can cause ur car to vibrate

The vibration with poly mounts is a general, all over vibration and does not just affect the steering wheel. Also, it gets less as RPM's increase.
