Thread: Is this a problem?

The guy who worked on my car last, I believe broke this but will not admit it.

If so, looks like that would cause an effed up spray pattern IMO..

It's the lower o-rings retainer.. should be fine.

Might I add that it should be fine if the rest of the plastic retainer clip is in tact (all the way around without cracks).

Checking now. Had to pick up the kids from school.

I think they're called fuel injector pintles or something. All of them are broke on my avenir motor and it runs fine. I don't remember mine being that big, they just covered the very tip of the injector. Damn jdm engine pullers pulling the engine by the fuel rail.....

ull be fine. i havent had to many sets of injectors that there the plastic was intact. have yet to have a problem!

will run just fine with broken pintle cap. pintle caps are there to protect the pintle. I have also been told they help with the spray pattern but i don't know how true that is.

it should be no problem mine have been like that for at least 70,000 miles
