Figured, but parking it or storing it doesn't prevent it from going sour if it's gonna sit for 9 years. Springs sag. Rubber degrades. Fluids turn nasty and cake on to metal. Metal rusts. Headliners fall off. All that fun stuff :P

And let's be honest.. it's no Mustang

Jack it up, tarp it over, drain fluid. I am thinking swapping motor anyway.

Eh, maybe if you can find an '00-02 RR motor. But that'll be a 20 year old motor by the time your nephew gets it. Either way if something is going to sit that long, consider that it needs a motor rebuild, all new suspension bushings, door/chassis rubber, etc.

Unless you keep it in an air conditioned garage for 9 years there's no avoiding that.

Sounds like you're just looking for something to wrench on. If that's the case and you think a 1994 sentra is the car to do that on, go for it.

But IMO you'd be better off selling it as is, then buy your nephew a cheap car in a decade. It will ultimately cost you a hell of a lot less. And a 10 year old car in 2019 will be safer, cleaner, faster, get better gas mileage, and be more reliable.

Like an Infiniti G20. I saw you were considering Accords and Altimas. Very nice cars and similar in price and quality.

I'd give that the thumbs up, but keep in mind that an EV conversion will cost you upwards of $10k easy. So you need to be serious about it. And have deep pockets... hehe

Here's a good place to start looking:
