Eh, maybe if you can find an '00-02 RR motor. But that'll be a 20 year old motor by the time your nephew gets it. Either way if something is going to sit that long, consider that it needs a motor rebuild, all new suspension bushings, door/chassis rubber, etc.
Unless you keep it in an air conditioned garage for 9 years there's no avoiding that.
Sounds like you're just looking for something to wrench on. If that's the case and you think a 1994 sentra is the car to do that on, go for it.
But IMO you'd be better off selling it as is, then buy your nephew a cheap car in a decade. It will ultimately cost you a hell of a lot less. And a 10 year old car in 2019 will be safer, cleaner, faster, get better gas mileage, and be more reliable.
