Rear coolant hoses revisted
Just wanted to stress how much it sucks to replace those hoses on the back of the motor. I had still had a leak even after the previous owner replaced them, so two hours of throwing wrenches and cussing i finally got the intake manifold off lol. Now to pressure test the system tomorrow and see where its leaking from back there. Anyone else have astories about this job? :o

Get yourself an aftermarket manifold

Took me all of 10 minutes to replace the hose, with the car on the lift.

well it turned out to be a loose hose clamp on the brand new hose. so i tightened it and pressure tested the system and it stopped leaking. i put everything back together and took it for a test drive, everything seemed fine. Well the next morning, I look under the car and it leaked a puddle....so im like wtf? I start the car and let it warm up and the leak is worse!!! and only leaks when the car is running...not when it is off.
