Thread: Low lumpy idle at start up and hitting a wall during acceleration (the feeling of it)

I have changed the Auxilary Idle Air Valve already. I checked it today and it was open cold.

Which one?

Just changed the FPR. Still the problem is there.

Vacuum leaks, would explain why the car idles warmed up (so would a bad O2 heater wire this would not throw a code). This would be consistent with issues after the intake manifold was removed and if it didn't seal well enough.

Do you have a compressor?

The one underneath intake manifold. May look similar to this:

I swapped that out last year with a new one. Believe it or not those same exact symptoms why i swapped it out have resurfaced. Leading me to believe that it may not be the culprit. Until I find a new one cheap on ebay, I wanna try to work around it.

The problem went away after you replaced it last year, now the same symptoms are back? Someone here probably has a used one you could try for cheap.

I got one cheap from Andreas Miko a while ago. There is a good chance he might have more.

That's not a very long time. If you bought a new one though, that sucks it went bad that fast (if that turns out to be the prob). Might want to test it or acquire a known good used one from someone here.
