Thread: Anyone have code P0705?

I just need to know if this code throws the CEL on. I currently have a CEL on for my msd and I am hoping I can get that taken off and pass the test.

The knock sensor code doesn't throw the CEL. I swear if they fail the car based on stored codes that don't throw a CEL on, I will be mad.

it is the neutral switch code. The one on the trans, not the clutch pedal.

It's for the neutral switch sensor on a manual transmission. I'm not sure if you will fail, technically it's a freeze frame or pending code.

I have that code too. I thought it was because I have an auto ecu with a manual tranny.

Does anyone actually have a CEL on because of this code? It is the sensor on the bottom of the trans by the differential. If it isn't plugged in it will throw this code.

I don't have a CEL for this. the knock sensor was not throwing a code either.

NissanGuy: there was no conclusion on that thread.. did you end up fixing the problem, and if so, what was the fix?

Pretty sure you can just plug in all the sensors on the trans. But my knock sensor on the other hand has always thrown a ghost code since I did the 97 JWT computer.
