For eveyone with a B14, 94-96 P10 and P11 car.

If you get the correct flywheel made which I am working on with Greg Vogel. You will not have a CEL for the transmission flywheel sensor.

The 20V bellhousing has the boss there for the trans sensor. I just took the trans off of this motor today and was suprized and happy to see it.

If you look at the pic below you can clearly see the boss on the bellhousing next to the top hole on the block for the front engine mount bracket. So this clearly shows if the flywheel is done right we will be moving in the right direction.

The factory trans is perfect, so the easiest way is to get a 20v trans or 20v bellhousing and put it on the QR trans and have the correct flywheel made to make it a true quick bolt up affair without all the custom work like triming a bellhousing and buying a custom bellhousing plate to bolt to it.

Sounds fine and dandy to me but the hard part would be getting a hold of a 20V tran's and or bell housing.

If you consider hard, picking up the phone and calling G Spec or Mazworx to order a part they have in stock. Again the problem is the flywheel not the trans.

how thick does the flywheel has to be? I know someone that would machine some if I asked.

damnit you changed it quickly I had something funny to quote off of that messup.

standard SR20DE flywheel is 215mm clutch

6 speed flywheel is 225mm clutch and is about 2.25 inches from back of ring gear to face of flywheel

I am going to post some pics of the factory 20V flywheel.

The disc is the same as the KA24DE but I think the presure plate is diffrent.

The presure plate has 9 bolts on it for the 20V, 3, 3 and 3.

It seems as Greg V has someone to make the flywheel to factory specs in aluminum. The flywheel should be about 13-14 pounds when done.
