Thread: Manifold coolant hose

This happened while the kid was test driving my car, as most of you will remember

Also replaced the fuel pump, but the car wouldn't start. The relay wasn't working, so I had to pull the ecu/obd1 harness and toss in the obd2 ecu. Fired right up. I need to look at the stepdown harness now and see if an assclown kicked it and knocked a wire loose

oh yeah and posting from the phone so Ill move this and clean it up tomorrow. I haz tired!

Yes, she was very upset and flipped out. It's all good, easily repairable.

damn! the hose i told u about is diffrent. (i'm justin). hopefully it's the stepdown harness that would be easy as pie to fix atleast. still gonna sell it?

Lol hey man hadn't know your screen name. Yeah I fixed everything today and she's running on the obdII ecu that's tuned. I didn't test the obd1 yet.

I've tentatively sold it already. Once deposit is received it's 100% certain. She'll be in good hands.

Very true. In the end, everything will work itself out. I know the new owner is going to take very good care of the car, and I'm more than willing to help him should he want to make any changes in the future. I may be selling her, but I'll still be a part of her life if the owner wants any assistance.

Thanks for the well wishes, Stratton. I'm not out of the game for good, just for now. My plan is to pick up a B13 in the distant future and start over with something different. It won't be turbo, it'll be N/A THAT'S for sure.

This is why i pre-emptively replace old rubber on everything i own :P
