It does matter, I'm going to be taking the coolant from there for my turbo, I don't want to be sending even warmer coolant through it. I need to keep it due to the cold chicago winters.

I just drilled the 2 coolant housings for the coolant hoses with a 1/8th NPT tap. Then put 5/16ths fittings on.
Honestly, same number of fail points. I used barb to barb adapters to the stock TB coolant lines and swivel fitting on the turbo and done. Works great and never any issues.
