Coolant flow through TB?
Does anyone know the direction of the flow of coolant through the stock DE throttle body?

It doesn't matter, it is just a straight in and out. It can be how ever you want or not at all.

It does matter, I'm going to be taking the coolant from there for my turbo, I don't want to be sending even warmer coolant through it. I need to keep it due to the cold chicago winters.

I think its stupid to tap into the heater hoses or tb lines. Just drill and tap the coolant housings. less line, less failure points and works great.

I totally agree on tapping the block, but is there a good write-up anywhere? I've searched myself and couldnt find anything.

I just drilled the 2 coolant housings for the coolant hoses with a 1/8th NPT tap. Then put 5/16ths fittings on.

Honestly, same number of fail points. I used barb to barb adapters to the stock TB coolant lines and swivel fitting on the turbo and done. Works great and never any issues.
