I brought a set of these locally (NZ) for my P10 and they have shown a good power increase but were FAR from perfect, them manifold plate didn't line up with the head, the ports were miles off and the welds were very rough with bits of wire sticking out. Outside finish was nice. Had to spend almost 3 hours with a die grinder getting them to a more suitable position

Then when i went to finish them the first flange had to be ground back to clear the block, and the flexi joint and secondary's run far too close to the sump for my liking.

And to top it off they give you 2 O2 sensor bungs, the first is in one of the primary's so it only senses one cylinder which won't give a very accurate reading, this bung couldn't be used as it place the sensor fouling the rad fan.
The 2nd bung is further back down the car which is good, but also can't be used as the sensor would foul on the shift rods. Im not sure if this is because of my short shifter changing the rod height or not.

Over all they were cheap and did make reasonable power, but i wouldn't buy another set.

the flange on the secondary is angled on most ssac angled int he sense that a corner of the flange is like a nanometer away from the block

the one you posted above does not and the flange is straight not even coming close to the block

Mmmmmmmhm. This is why i'm a little hesitant to buy a cheap header.
Maybe i'll just try to find a stock one -_-

stock is 1-5/8" or 1-7/8". I feel more strongly towards 1-7/8"

I have a 2.0" header right now and let me tell you, it needs more.

You can look in my sig for more info on my car.

Checked your cardomain. That header seems perfect for my needs. Too bad they are discontinued.

Nice setup. Done proper!

Thank your for the kind comments. At the time, that header was perfect for me. Now, I have cams waiting to go in and I need that air to get out faster. I am shopping around for a new header as well and will end up getting one of the 2.5" on eBay.

You can find some that are 2.25" on eBay if you look thoroughly. There are more 2.25" than 2.5" imho. Only a few eBay "stores" will carry the 2.5" ones. Good luck in your hunt!

I am gonna try to restore the foam, find new foam, glue it back or something and then re-install them.

I needed something for a quick fix and this was at the right price and time and place.

I have had the best of luck with my old school hotshot header. I will never go back to any cheapy ebay header again. Thanks but I'll stick to a part actually designed to make power and sound good. A friend of mine runs the Hotshot Gen 6 header on his VEd race car and makes great power and loves it despite any negativity thats floating around.
