i have 3 pop chargers and have no need to get rid of them. 1 i got for free by accident for a 300zx. 1 i got from a junk yard by pure luck for $10 from an altima. 1 i gave to jensen.

however if you are looking for something to add to a CAI personally this would be the best option, not to mention a good bit lighter....the pop is a heavy little bastard lol.

Well, I am well known for blasthing companies that ripp off others designs. OBX, SS Autocrap, Stoner Mountain Racing, Blox, XS Lack of Power, AMS (the fake nissan tuners, not the real Mitsubishi tuners, they ripped of their name), K-rap suspension and a few others are on my hall of shame **** list.

Some companies makes stuff in china using their own designs and can provide good value if attention is paid to quality control. These are companies like Omnipower, Skunk2, Eagle, DC, Buddy Club, Weapon-R and a few others. This practice is ok and it can provide value to the consumer.

Patronizing the ****ty companies is ruining the industry, especialy for low cost lower volume cars like ours. Now if you want to go beyond ebay, you have to go custom.

Couldn't you just use one of the Injen filters with the built in velocity stacks?

It was cheaper then buying the velocity stack and a new filter.

the Injen would be nice, the APEXI still needs a adapter and a hose

I've got the injen filter, but I just bought one of these to sample...

I got the cheap $30 nylon one, I'll slap it on the end of my CAI w/ a pop filter and see if I feel anything different...

nice numbers. i purchased 1 from pepboys not long ago...go figure ...for like $20. i felt a major difference. more pull on the low end. this was in cold weather also. but the thing is that youll have the risk of sucking in more dirt. its great when you're going to the track for a night but i wont recommned it for DD unless you could costumize a screen from home depot.

You are supposed to put a filter on the velocity stack... They make them for this size. No need to come up with a filter...

but if you do, quick solution is a layer of window screen, then a layer of pantyhose or thin cloth and clamp it down.
