Thread: Transmission nightmare/carnage. PICS!!!!

no that was on 8psi with the setup in my pics but its funny cuz it first happened in a run through 1st and 2nd. I dont think it was really a problem with too much power. Im probably in the range of 250whp 250wtq or so. after i get this all settled out im gonna dyno it and hopefully get a couple good passes down the track and hoping for a mid-high 12 sec pass. Its definetly making a crapload of power but again im pretty sure it was something to do with the tranny from the very beginning. This one has just been a nightmare, oh well, It has been whining like no tommorrow from the very beginning and i couldnt figure out why. im definetely thinking a bearing problem on the gearset.

I get my replacement trannie tommorrow morning so it will be back together before i have to go to work tommorrow evening.

i've got some shot peened and cryo treated gears for cheap if you are interested. you would probably have to use the ring and pinion gears from your current trans though.

For a minute I thought R.KELLY was drivin, cause those gear were bumpin and grindin!!!!!

awww and no thanks to me, who found that tranny

anywayz now its back on the road... but DAMN!!! that tranny is history.... good luck...
