Transmission nightmare/carnage. PICS!!!!
Well being under high hp this is my first one down, some may have seen my post needing a tranny. well here is what happened and from what ive found so far. It seems to me from what had originally happened with the tranny after first installing it is the main gearset front bearing feels very loose and not solid at all possibly causing the gearset to spread thus causing this carnage. The transmission had whinned since first installation in every gear, i was using redline gearoil and was full the entire time so there is no explination for the whining in every gear, it would whine until i came to a complete stop so something was up.

Here it is: The Carnage btw i found a good low milage b14 to take its place so the car will be back on the road again.

And a big thanks to Junior (Se-rious_93) for finding the trans here locally. big

yeah yuma is where i reside. yeah it gets pretty hot here. its no biggie though. well as most of you know this tranny has been through hell from the beginning. first the whining, then the chunks taken out of the back at the rear mount bracket causing me to customize my rear mount bracket and now this, i think it was somehow cursed and oh and not to mention second gear grind from the very beginning no matter what. so yeah it was just waiting to go. hopefully the next one will make it a little longer and hold up to make a couple hundred passes. haha i doubt it but i can be hopeful right.

oh and still gotta make a custom solid front dogbone to clear my downpipe.
