Thread: Fuel line question

I'm trying to hook it up all stock if possible but I dont know where that one line goes so I plugged it. see pic below

Oh what the hell there are two fuel lines on the charcoal canister? Uhhh, you got me there. Dan ripped out my canister when he pulled my motor the last time and I never got to take a good look at the situation. Anyone else got a clue?

There are two to the intake, the little one controls the valve, the other feeds the vapor in.

That capped one goes to the intake manifold.

according to Vadim's w11 vac diagram there is no space for the capped line, would it be ok capped off?

Well your charcoal can will just fill up with fuel if you do it that way.

You could tee from another line. The fuel pressure vac source has a small hose that I would tee for the vac source for the charcoal can. Then run the big hose to where Vadim has circled for the charcoal can if it is the same size.

Never "T" off of the fuel pressure regular source.

If you need a vacuum source find it somewhere else. The BOV source would be good.

So you think the T would screw with the FPR? Even if it is only opening the valve at idle?

I guess it would be good practice either way.

There's a reason that vacuum line from the manifold to the FPR is kept as short as possible and is dedicated. The FPR is the most important device to get a vacuum signal and you want that signal as clean as possible.

For those of you who deleted your canister, what'd you do with the line from the tank? just leave it open?
