Vacuum hose help [PICS]
I am so close to finishing this rebuild I can taste it - i just need some help figuring out where these vacuum hoses go. Please note that this is on the driver's side of a HIGHPORT SR20DE (before 91/92/93) Here are the hoses I can't find homes for:

There are 3 in total; two of them are pictured here

As well as here:

Same 2 hoses, zoomed out a little:

Here is the third one:

Also, I can't figure out where this connector goes:

Zoomed out a little:

Can someone take pictures of their highport or at least try to describe to me where the other ends of those hoses should be? All the pictures I have found thus far have been for low port SR20's

Thank you all,
Rick

MMM... most of those hoses are all the emissions crap. From what I can tell that 3rd one goes to your black canister. The plug seems to be for your idle control.

Actually I already found the one that goes to my charcoal cannister, I think. The third one (the short one) isn't long enough to reach it. The first two you see are curved on the end, if that helps any.

Edit: by the way what do you mean by my idle control, in reference to that connector? I believe all that stuff is on the passenger's side of the engine, not the driver's side.

damn that 2 prong black connector looks like mine. Altho mine is kinda just hanging there, so i'm guessing it's not a big deal.

I have never had a highport so i dunno, but you'll figure it out.

How far does that connector hang down? On all 3 of my B13s I had a random plug that hung down by the transmission that I could never figure out what it was for.

OK so I found that the reason why I can't find homes for those vacuum lines is because somewhere along the way, I lost a vacuum control solenoid, the EGR vacuum control solenoid, to be exact.

The source of the *highport* vacuum diagram that I found? Hayne's manual. Unbelievably, they had the highport diagram that both the FSM and the Chilton lacked. Also, I could not find this diagram via google or any other search that I performed. This is exactly why I keep all 3 brand manuals around.

Here is the page that I found it on:

So basically what I got from this is that there is a solenoid that should be below th intake manifold, similar to this one:

As you can see, it's absent:

That would account for all 3 of my homeless vacuum lines, as well as that electrical connector! Yay! but now I have to wait till I can get a new one from the dealer because I think the old one broke, if I remember correctly.

Figured out the problem!
Have to wait to finish the project...

i broke that thing when I did my swap. ended up fixing it, but damn did I take a long time looking around trying to see what was going on. That thing is stupid and sits on the back so it's hard to notice. I agree with jer, get rid of the EGR crap!
