Thread: Anyone used xylene?

I threw a gallon in my tank today with 2 gallons of normal fuel. Supposed to have bumped the octane up to about 98 or 99 I did the math it was like 98.96. It is also supposed to get rid of carbon deposits etc. which is why I'm using the xylene in the first place. It was $18 for a gallon my buddy used it in the infiniti so I figured I'd would try it. Anyone ever used it? I'm atleast expecting some better throttle response.
