I ran my buddy in his cobra making 500whp. 360whp fwd bested him from a roll. But those superchargers are pretty quick.

Cobra hunting? You can run 9's in a 03-04 without even opening the motor. Some of you guys amuse me

I guess if you are making over 800whp with a tubbed rear end hitting 1.4 60' you could hit a 9. 10s are more likely.

No you can't my buddy has a 1000whp turbo cobra the run's 9's and it took him a **** ton of work and about $30k to get there. The stock motor on an 03' or 04' cobra is good to about 750whp and then it will pop. I doubt they will run 9's but ya 750whp and rip everything out and tubular a-arms and such ya maybe hit high 10's. BTW my buddies 1000whp one has all tubular parts as well to run those 9's

I've seen LS1's go 9.90's on nothing more than a cam, nitrous, stall, tire, and tune. The car was quite gutted though (still had A/C).

There's a video on youtube of a Hellion equipped 03-04 Cobra making 948hp on a stock motor. I've also read of numerous other TT Cobra's. My friend's 03 with the big Kenny Belle was insanity on wheels. By far the fastest full weight street car that I've been in. Rode 3 deep and walked numerous bikes.

My friend hit a 10 with a procharger on his 97 cobra on a built motor and higher compression. sprayed a 200 shot with it and blew it on that run lol. Then he sold the car.

Yeah, I didn't become a fan of Ford power until the Terminators came out. The motors are actually all assembled with aftermarket forged parts from what I've heard. They're beasts and I will own one. LS1's on the other hand LOVE nitrous. My friend was spraying a 300 wet shot out of the hole and hit 9's. The car should not have been as fast as it was. Hell I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it.

Anyway. I believe it is possible, but it just sounds like one of the most extreme cases. Like AMS evos. They can, but it is far from the norm.
