70 lbs what? in-lb? ft-lb? Get your units right. You know the basic repair manual at Autozone has all the torque values you will ever need. Or you could have spent...less then 1 minute to do a "SEARCH" for 'factory service manual' find the first sticky that canx2k posted that has a link to download the fsm.

ft lb... i always go 80

20 first then 40 then 60 then 80

on each bolt. ***** WITH NEW TORQUE WRENCH***** not with someones used old un calibrated crap.

Wait, no one caught that he used RED LOCKTITE? Good luck getting those off next time.

Yeah everytime I put a flywheel on I use red loctite to make sure they dont back out. Also dont tq the flywheel anymore then you did. Youll be good. You tighten them to much over spec and youll be swapping out cranks like I had to do.

Torque = good. Red Loctite = good. As for getting it off later with the loctite on there? Easy. Just buzz it off with an impact.

i never use locktite.. my process of torquing them down suffices my questioning of any of them backing out.
