A friend of mine had a VE valve cover on his 99 SE-L when he bought it. We popped it off and I traded him my stock VE one for the SR16 VC he had. bolted up without a hitch.

so whats the proper way to route a aftermarket catch can. I was thinking teeing it off on the hose from the pcv valve to the intake mani and to the nipple on the right side of the valve cover to the catch can

Look at the valve covers.

VE's have a bend going back into the exhaust side of the valve cover.

Because the oil separator is built into the valve cover. They have two oil separators in the valve cover instead of the DE's one.
