Motor Mount Mayhem: Don't be a victim
My woes started a few days ago with a tiny rasp coming out from under the hood. I quickly realized it was my ssac header developing a crack, no big deal I'll take it to get welded in a couple days, right? Wrong. The next day I try to use my A/C to no avail, as if it were totally drained of ice juice. Well it was, and only after trying to recharge the damn thing did I notice plumes of r134 spewing all over the place, out of a large crak in the hard line right in front of the compressor. Scratching my head I'm wondering what the hell is going, I decide to check the motor mounts and sure enough the front mount is shot with the others on their way out too.

I think my steering has been affected as well and I may need to do all my bushings.

All of these issues could have been prevented had I just checked on my mounts once in a while.

If there was a smiley that pokes itself it would have been used

Sooooo...me needs me a header primary and some mounts.

I used the mounts that came on my nx and put the inserts in myself. never drove the original mounts. I did set my passenger side mount on fire too. Was entertaining :P

Note: Remove the rear mount insert first. Then use the original mount insert from the rear to pound out the passenger side insert.
