Coolant thread #3. WTF? The short fat hose on the highport behind the manifold
New radiator

New hose

Bled coolant

New Thermostat

Why the hell this bastard of a hose decides it wants to pinhole on me.

How hard is it to swap out and do they sell it at Autozone?

It a pain in the ass! You have to either take the motor out of the car or take the Intake manifold off and even with the manifold off its a ****ing pain in the ass to get at!

Get some manny gaskets while your at autozone!

I ordered the G spec hoses. Now how do I temporarily fix the pinhole leak?

Since that hose does not leak until the fans kick in, I assume it is the thermostat hose. I am going to cut a piece of hose, spread some RVT on it and clamp it till the GSpec hoses arrive. Sounds safe?

you could try some of this stuff from autozome caused plastic weld, it really works would probably work on the hose
