not adding fire to this but what basically everyone is trying to say is that buying a seat that has been sold for a long time or made by known dealer most likely will be safer then a replica. tell you what. this is how i see it since tokes whants to add his opinion using diffrent stuff...

a pair a nikes at the flee are put together with ****ing rubber glue while the reall thing is stiched... now which one will probably break first???

now you take that replica and see if its made out the same material and safety features? or whatever R&R was put into that seat? ...... can you find it? do you see it? mean its not a life or death thing but thats one less thing you have to worry about ok

thats just how i see it man. and also no one that has posted( to my knowlage) has a stock car.. just FYI

Who is saying that? No one said a replica is better than the real thing, everyone knows that. I could buy the real ones, but I chose not to because it is not cost effective and from my research on the replicas themselves I dont see how bad they can be. If I had a higher end expensive vehicle then yes I would spend the money.

Folks in other forums have gotten in accidents, whether it was a Honda or not it does NOT matter, an accident is an accident and the seats held up fine. I checked that out as well before I made this thread and people decided to start running their mouths, name calling and talking nonsense.

Now once again, if your comments have NOTHING to do with the thread then please keep it to yourselves.

Thats what you get for getting rid of a 400+hp SR.. lol.. but yeah obviously a real bride would be better made but who the hell cares the fakes are good enough..

going from OEM to fake is better so what the problem.

What about all the guys that install Momo and Nardi steering wheels? taking off the air bag isnt safe either..

But yeah if you find some cheap Brides LMK. i was going to get Some ebay ones and have a shop embriod BRIDE on it

I don't want to beef or anything like that, its just that I am a very logical person and... you say that you want and love brides and all of that, but then you want the replicas... the replicas aren't brides... they probably won't be comfortable like brides and they'll be low quality in comparison...

I guess there isn't nothing really that wrong with replicated seats, but why fake the funk?

Im an educated person myself, I look at all the factors as well. I just dont see myself paying $2000 for seats for a $2000 car. If I had an EVO or STI or mommy and daddy paid for my things then YES I would get the real thing. But if im going to spend $500 on aftermarket seats, I wouldnt mind getting some fake ones, like girls and their fake purses from canal street.

I just started working on Wallstreet, and ive had a fake Breitling for two years, my uncle has the real one, but you cant tell the difference. No one knows mine is fake and people compliment me about it. Can I afford a real Breitling? Yes, will I buy one at the current moment, nope. Will I buy one eventually...Yes, but at the current moment it is not ideal for me to. A watch is a watch to me, whether its a Casio or a Rolex it tells time. BUT if I could have a watch that tells time that is nicer and mimics the real deal for 1/100th of the price...then the hell with it, why not?

Im not sure yet, I wanted some B13 Sentra's before I left Miami but I couldnt find any down there. I was thinking of re-doing the NX seats, but opted out. Ive sat on replicas and on the real deal on Ainsley's car (SR20detgirl) and I could not tell the difference. The difference was the fabric and thats it, of course the R&D in the real Brides are superior, but at the end of the day I dont care.

also what happens when people like you buy FAKE seats that are COPIES of brides? bride is not making money for their R&D when other people just jack their design. it's people like you that put the real companies who do the R&D that make our cars better go out of business.
