G20 wont rev over 2500 rpm
i told ya guys the problem before how i swaped motors this motor does not have emisson and the motor before did and it wouldnt rev over 2500 rpm everyone seemd to say its the mass air flow but i got a couple new ones and they have all done the same thing i checked the ground its good the maf is getting power its starting to piss me off and its doesnt have a check engine light on and i tryd checking the ecu and the red led light is on and i tryd checkin for codes but it didnt do anything please help i need to get it running right..

If it's not the maf, then it's got to do with some of the wiring to it. That is the only thing that would keep if from revving up past 2500 if I'm correct...

Reground your MAF. There is a sticky in the How to Section on the procedure.

Its probably stuck in safe mode, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery for a couple of hours or overnight
.
My ga16 overheated on me one time and went into safemode it drove me crazy trying to figure out why it wouldn't rev past 2500
.
Then if it is still in safemode then there is another problem somewhere, but try that first

If you want another thing to search for this is also sometimes referred to as Limp Mode as well (depending on who you talk to), but it refers to the same basic thing.

try grounding the maf, cleaning it and check the connections to it. are you getting any codes

which engine is in the car, which ECU are you running, and what MAF are you running? You say no emissions stuff did you put in a JDM SR? Do you have a huge hole on the intake manifold from where emissions items use to be?

its a jdm motor and the maf and ecu r just stock

is the red led whats suppose to flash to give u codes because when i turned the thing it just stayd solid red
