aerocatch hood pins..quick question
Well im always paranoid driving at high speeds with my carbon fiber hood..so i was gonna get a set of these AEROCATCH PLUS FLUSH CARBON FIBER LOCKING HOOD PINS : eBay Motors (item 200446225300 end time May-02-10 23:58:22 PDT)

Would it be recommended to get it installed by a body shop?
Is ebay the cheapest place i can get these?

It's not that hard to cut the holes for them. Put painters tape where you are going to cut to help stop splintering, then take a dremel to it. Not sure about the cheapest, search online and see. I can get you some pics of them installed tonight if it'll help any.

Go for the locking set. The non-locking set is okay, but for added security I'd MUCH rather have a locking set. That way if someone pops the hood latch, they're still not getting the hood or any other goodies without damaging the hood itself.

I agree with you and when the time comes I am going to order a set of the locking ones. I think if someone wants to get under the hood bad enough they won't care about damaging the hood.
