UR Crank pulley timing marks question..
What do the marks represent? Like from right to left or left to right (not sure which way I need to be looking. But what are the marks? -5,0,5,10,15 Or is it 15,10,5,0,-5. Or does the pully start at Zero? I just wanna be ab;e to tell where my timing is before I up it but im not sure what each mark represents...help?

Yeah there were two different generations marked differently. Easiest way to tell, is put the motor at tdc, see which one is zero, and it goes up in 5's from there. Some started at -5 and I think the others started at 0.

Sheet! So I cant just tell by looking at the pulley its self. Wasnt there a marking that UR put on it somewhere to let you know which version it is? I remember reading that somewhere.

Also if you bump the timing and dont put it in timing mode, the ECU is going to correct it and put it back at stock timing or something close to it right? Cause if thats the case then I should be able to figure out if it starts at -5 or 0 just by looking at where the timing is now. Right?

Thanks ALOT! Good info here! In this thread.

Coheed, theres a thread either here or on the old forum that talks about it in detail. Greg Even chimed in. There were revisions on the Gspec pulleys just like the UR ones because I think the timing marks were off or something. So your in the same delima as I was. Just know which Version you have and you should be able to get an answer quick though...IIRC its printed on teh pulley somewhere.
