Chain tensioners
Is there a difference in chain tensioners from high port to low port's? And from De to DET?

No not that I know of. The only change in tensioner happened around 2000 with the RR motor where they installed the one with the larger oil hole and more teeth. I will have to find a old one and lay them side by side to show the difference. All of the SR16 motors I recieved came with this chain tensioner as well. If you need pics let me know

Nissan has an updated tensioner that they should get if you order a new one.

Well I have one from a junk yard. But wasn't sure if there was any difference from low to high port.

the newer style tensioner allows for the removal of the top timing chain guide which can cause issues
