There is a small screw under the sunroof motor which you can turn to open or close your sunroof manually. The only problem is that you have to lower the headliner a little in order to get in there. You have to remove the sunvisors, the trim around the doors, trim around the sunroof and may be dome light.
Mine did not close also, the problem was the sunroof switch. I took apart the swith and cleaned the contacts. If you do this, you will have to be carefull to not brake the plastic around the switch. Another solution is to get a switch from the junkyard. I got one for $2
, I think a new one cost around $50
