There is a small screw under the sunroof motor which you can turn to open or close your sunroof manually. The only problem is that you have to lower the headliner a little in order to get in there. You have to remove the sunvisors, the trim around the doors, trim around the sunroof and may be dome light.

Mine did not close also, the problem was the sunroof switch. I took apart the swith and cleaned the contacts. If you do this, you will have to be carefull to not brake the plastic around the switch. Another solution is to get a switch from the junkyard. I got one for $2 , I think a new one cost around $50

Good luck!

It might be getting stuck, did you try pulling on it as you push the button to close it? Mine is slightly askew, so it will hit the side and stick but a little pulling and it will get it to go.

its weird so... i took it all apart.. the motor won't go forward ... not clicks from the motor at all.. then when i had the motor in my hand it moves back to open the sunroof and then quit.. so it clicks now when it tries to open the sunroof but not a peep when it goes to close it... i'm thinking the motor took a poop on me.

Mine did the same thing, It would open but not close. It was the switch. Try that first before getting a new sunroof motor.

haha. It's funny because I had the same EXACT problem a couple days ago. Turned out that I just had to wait. Just think there was a lot of water in there and had to wait until it dried up. Maybe just the motor tho. Hope the rain holds off on ya!
