guess my new problem
Since my old engine died from a stuck thermostat, I had another engine put in I finally have it on the road but it makes a whirling/slight grinding noise when my foot is not on the clutch pedal in neutral (don't know if noise is present while driving exhaust is too loud), I began wondering if the cable has streched because of the greg v stage 2 clutch (b15 disc and pp) that was put in, it might be the original cable but I'm not sure, everything was replaced, tob and clips too
.
I tried putting some big washers as spacers and drove it around and it still makes the noise probably 3/8" total, could the cable have stretched that fast? The car does not seem to make the noise when it is cold only warm, and the clutch grabs at the top of the pedal, when I push the pedal in the noise stops.
.
Any ideas? If I get a new oem 1.6 cable will it solve my problem?
