Thread: JWT S4 instal questions (little help over here)

The JWT ECU for S4s (NA) increases the idle speed to 950RPM. Then you would also set the base idle at 950 RPM for smooth idle. I don't know if you can do something like this with the engine management system that you are using.

Hey Bill how ya been man I think he has a JWT ECU for his engine management, he's just wondering if they do a S4 program for a turbo set up.

do you know weather or not the na program adjust base idle air fuel ratio just curiious if the s4 required more or less fuel to get a more smooth idle

Yeah the idle worked its self out. I did have to change the tune a bit for non wot down low because it wasnt idling right (in the 10's on idle sometimes). I also had to change it cause when you revved it it would drop down to 10's again for a split second and then come up to like 15 (where its supposed to be) so there was a split second bog. Fixed all of that and took Scrildo for a ride last night

It idles fine now. Runs great. Now I just gotta stop hitting it before I break something.

Yup shooting flames in between shifting from 4th to 5th I dunno how tha hell we gonna get video of that?? I guess we could angle the passenger side mirror down towards the exhaust and video through the mirror?!?

Doing good. Not much time to work on the cars, but I will be on the track at the Shenandoah Circuit with TrackDaze in May.

Im dynoing tomorow Jer Hit me up. Gonna do a quick fine tune tommorow and then im going to either Phantasm or somewhere to Dyno I at least want to get numbers before something breaks!
