Project new Interior NX: Suggestions welcome
Hey guys so this is my NX2000 interior plan:

Im in the process of figuring out how to get the interior of my NX cleaned up by this summer, im not looking into getting another car, ill stick with the NX for quite some time as the VVL has me with my tongue hanging out everytime I drive it. My interior is not ugly by any means but it is 14 yrs old and needs to be revamped.

I want to replace the black carpeting this summer with new black carpeting, and in the process I will redo the door panels (as soon as I get some new ones from somewhere), and roof liner as its not expensive.

I have some brand spanking new NX carpets from the dealer that I got on Ebay (YES I said NEW) and I want to get new seats. My friend had some cheap seats he got on Ebay in his Civic that looked pretty damn good and were comfortable, so I was thinking of doing the same, but I have NO idea about seat rails and what not, how would that work? And does anyone in NY know how to do it or where to get a custom rail or such? I would love to get brand name seats, but its not cost effective IMO on such an old vehicle. The rear seat I will get re-upholstered in the same fabric that I get the front seats done in eventually (its cheap too). So well see what happens.

Suggestions and comments welcome.

Why not do the g20t seats? Its not too tough. Right now I tore up the driver's seat pretty good, but when I got them they looked great!

To me, aftermarket seats are usually pretty cheesy. If you can't find a set of G20t seats, at least get the b13 SE-R ones.

becuase you'll slip and slide! and if your 6' or taller you'll hit the roof. other than that, they're bad ass! I'm redoing my interior too, going from gray to black and with some Carbon fiber stuff. nothing to flashy

I don't slip and slide, I'm planted firm into those seats After having these for a few years, I hate cloth seats now.

That 250 pounds of Serban wore a permanent mold into those seats. Custom fit racing seats

Actually, I'm well over 150! That, and I don't use leather conditioner or anything on the seats.

I wanted some B13's before, but I would have to have them re-upholstered, and the P10 seats that ive seen go for wayyy too much money or are typically roughed up, I love your interior man, I really do, and I never found the middle P10 cubby at the South FL junkyards in black (they were always tan). I would definitely consider some P10t seats but they are really hard to find in good condition. I dont want to spend $500+ on seats, for that I would rather just faux-leather or suede the NX seats and call it a day.

My friends Civic seats look & feel great and he paid $250, they are Bride copies (without the insignia) in suede, they are actually quite nice for the price and his interior looks great. I might go that route but dont know what to do about the rails... I also want a MOMO steering wheel and hub
