Thread: starting problem??

Ok so im having a problem with my 96 200sx-SER ever since I isntalled an aftermarket short ram intake I have been having problem starting when the engine is cold? (In the morning or if the car sits for over 2hrs) I tried cleaning the throttle body w/ the throttle body and intake cleaner. Tht worked for a little while now the car is starting better but in the morning when I get in the car push on the clutch and turn the key the rpms rise to about 1200-1300 and then it stalls on me but if I start it and give it a slight amount of gas for about 5 seconds it will stay on no problem?? If anyone has any idea what this could be please let me know

are you sure the filter is not clogged?
