damn that sucks. Also have fun changing that dumb ass hose. It was stupid enough to do it with the engine out lmao. But then again you have a lowport so i dont know if its any easyer or what not. But yes you need to change them both cause most likely if one is on its way out the other is right behind it

Yeah change them both. I replaced the big hose from the water pump when I had the DE lowport in my 94 after it blew with the idiot temp gauge needle still in the center. Didn't replace the other hose & lost coolant again 6 months later warping the block. Lesson learned. I replace both hoses whenever I do a motor swap now. Liquid dishwashing soap helps bigtime in getting the hoses on. To save time & money I usually cut off the old hoses and go to my local auto parts store and find hoses that have similar bends and diameters and cut to fit. No issues after 3 motor swaps so far. Oh yeah, replace those crappy OEM hose clamps with some new ones for insurance.

Yes i'll be cutting the old hoses off, and yes I hate those OEM hose clamps. I think they are the reason why my hose is leaking, well maybe not. I don't know. How about using vaseline to help get the hoses on?

Finally decided to tackle that leaking hose today. Took me awhile to get that hose off, but I got it out of there. Holy **** that was not fun at all.
I don't know how i'm going to get that new hose back on there.

Got the hose on today, but it's not on all the way though.
Just can't get it down all the way, and I can't even get it back off either.
I may have to cut this new hose off and start over with a new one. This time i'm using a **** load of vaseline, inside the hose and on the pipes.
