Thread: Mystery coolant leak need help please

Yes I saw those 2 hoses. I did see some coolant on the fatter hose. Does that hose go to the water pump? So I guess I need to replace that fat one then.

If you are doing it replace both.

Those hoses are only for the highport engines right? Mine is a lowport. Where can I get the lowport hoses? 98's are lowports right? I'm confused.

Talk to greg v. I'm pretty sure he can get both.

He can probably get oem ones for cheaper than the dealer cost, but the ones he has in stock are highport only, I know because I tried to get them from him when I was swapping my engine out

your also missing a bolt for the axle bracket.

Could also be a leaking freeze plug from back there, might wanna check that too

Sent him a email last night. He only has them for the highport. Damn I guess it's off to the Nissan dealership again, they will probably charge me close to $30 for it. About the same price I paid for my replacement upper rad hose.

It's that fat hose that goes to the water pump. Started the car up yesterday and took another look under there just to be sure, and I saw it leaking from that dumb hose.

Well it looks like the local Nissan dealership has the hose in stock. Thought for sure that would be a special order item. $22 bucks, I guess I'll be getting that one. Those red hoses would have been a better buy though.
