Thread: B14 window wipers

Anyone else having this issue? My window wiper connection for the driver side keeps falling off making my wiper blades not move.. so i opened up the shrouding and reconnect the arms, which seems to be a knuckle style with a type of suction cup around it and it keeps coming off... any ideas how to fix this permanently? Its super annoying since i live in washington where it rains 90 percent of the time! lol

Same thing happened to me while during a rainy commute, to where the driver side doesn't even move. Went to the dealer and they told me the plastic sockets get old and brittle with age and its easier to replace both arms since the other is bound to fail soon. The cost is about $20.
