Help with "V-plate" bolt
So I've read the "Starter Removal" thread thousands of times. I've located all the bolts on the stupid V-plate and have only been successful in removing bolts 2, 3, and 4. This first bolt is driving me nuts. I know the best way to get at it is from the bottom, but I still can't seem to get at it. Any help would be great, I need my car seeing as the weather has been keeping me from getting the darn thing out.

First, undo the nut on the starter solenoid to take off the large gaue positive wire that runs to the batter. Then you unplug the thing ground wire.

Once that is done you go to the driver side of the car and undo the two 14mm (might be 12mm) bolts that run through the trans bell housing to the starter. They are under the throttle body area.

Not a clue what this V-plate is you are talking about.

I got it now. I've never been happier hearing my car start up again. First time doing a starter job, and it sucked. The weather here allowed me to work on it probably 2 days out of the past two weeks. Oh yeah, and the starter worked GREAT Brent! Thanks again!
