Thread: looking for a new muffler

looking for a new muffler guys.

i cant take the drone from this apex n1 knock off anymore, made me nautious driving it tonight lolol.

im thinking maybe something like a 370z muffler or something along those lines if it can breath enough air. i plan on hitting 400whp so id like something thats not going to chock my motor.

has to be 3 inch in and at least 3 inch out.

id like it to be deep and grumbly.

I originally bought a WS2 Turbo, until I saw how damn big it is. It has an enlarged 4" tip on it and doesn't look like it'll quiet your car down at all. I think only the non-turbo version gets the rave reviews for sound.

I'd pass on the Turbo WS2. Also, drone may be more from resonance and you just need some dynomat or similar to get rid of it. This is what' I'm thinking of doing. Resonators also help.

i have a big 3 x 12 or so dynomax resonator and my apexi n1 knock off. the car is gutted to the bone, so thats why it prolly drones.

when i was young it was cool, i guess im growing out of that lol.

i run a vibrant muffler on my car and a few of my friends cars and its quiet byt still sounds great

I also have a flat black Vibrant on my SE-R. Very low key and sounds great especially on a turbo car.

What about N/A?

MagnaFlow. Nothing but the best, I love the sound of mine. It's not too loud at cruise, and all I have is 3" all the way back to it.
